I use Color Monki to calibrate my monitor and printer for the last few months. Color Monki as worked like a champ. The big programs like CS4 out of price range, I upgraded from Photoshop Elements 5 to Photoshop Elements 7.

With PSe7 I began to have trouble with all my prints coming out very dark. No matter what settings I used or changed and switching to a different monitor all my prints would come out dark. To make a long story short. I uninstalled PSe7 and reinstalled PSe5. My prints are now coming as they should.

Paul H suggested that I try out Paintshop Pro. I downloaded the program and it works great and no problems with it interfering with printer profiles. What I see is what I get. Thanks Paul for pointing me to Paintshop Pro. I think I'll swith to Paintshop.

A word about Photoshop Elements 7. Forget it.
