I make B&W prints using CS3, ABW settings on an Epson R2400. Last week I printed color snaps using the software that came with a new Canon G10. Now, when I try to print B&W, the prints are very warm, and do not change tone when I switch from neutral to cool and back in ABW mode. They are stuck on way too warm.

I need to make prints for a gallery this week, and so I need a solution quickly. Any ideas?

Nozzles look good. It seems like a software glitch.

Have you tried reloading the printer driver?

there's no way to change the ink combination in the ABW driver thus effecting hue anywhere in the settings other than the driver itself, nothing in OS, Photoshop, profiles or anything will alter that color. So, if every setting in the ABW section of the driver itself is identical to your previous work, including media settings etc.., and the ink is the same and printing properly... I'm stumped.
Bruce's suggestion os about all that's left...

I made a print in regular B&W mode, then switched back to ABW and all was well. Whew!
