I've caught the IR and soft focus bug and would be interested your choice of paper for darkroom printing these negatives and why. A forum search didn't turn-up any posts that addressed this subject.

Thanks,

Thomas

Although someone (not me) rated this thread with 5 stars, it looks like I'm the only one doing this!! That is very good news to me! :)

What type of answer are you looking for? A technical or aesthetic one?

In either case you've given forum members little information to respond to.

For IR negs I've used various types of paper and toners.

You may wish to pursue answers suggested by Dr. Tim Rudman's book, 'The Photographer’s Master Printing Course' or his book on lith printing, 'The Master Photographer’s Lith Printing Course', and finally ‘The Master Photographer’s Toning Book’ .

Thanks for the reply Don.

I've decided to Lith print them. I purchased Tim Rudman's books late last year with the intent of someday trying the process and now that day has arrived.
