So there I was out in the field putting on my 90mm with recessed lens-board. The wire linkage that came with the lens board was gone. Badger Graphics told me the do not sell them separate from the lens board.
To replace it I first got some steel rod from the local hobby store. I tool my lens and eyeballed the correct size. It was a bit hard to cut and bend. It always seemed to bind. Back to the hobby store and I asked about aluminum and brass rods both which are available. Selected the Aluminum and it may be to soft if that does not work out will go to brass. Cost is under 1.00 per rod so it worked out.
