Hi every body
I had hard time trying to separate the Carrier frame(aka: Coupling frame/ Format frame) from the rear bearer. The Carrier frame knob can be mobilized within an angle smaller than 180 degrees. At the extreme angle positions of the knob, the frame is tight.
Any help please How to separate the Carrier frame from the rear bearer ?
Also, tilt/swing knob can be pulled out ! what is the function of that ?
The back is metering type, while the bearer is the standard P1 rear bearer.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks.

Hi Archphoto
Hi Ken
Sorry its Sinar C. The back is composed by a P1 rear bearer and metering back.
Thanks.

As far as I know (and looking at the exploded view of the P block) the knob at the side of the frame should be rotated several turns anti-clockwise to take out the format frame.
At least that is the way I have to do with my P2 when I want to change formats. (4x5 to 8x10 back and forth)

Hi Peter
The frame is out of the bearer now.
Thanks sooooooooooo much.
Another option, I can convert my 4X5 F2 to C2.
Appreciate your help.
