Do you have Large format images you would like to show off? Are you within driving distance of northern Indiana?

We are only 3 short weeks away from our LF portfolio showing on January 23rd. Get your prints ready & join us. Also get ready to view some really great photographs. No judging, just enjoying.

We have people coming Milwaukee, Chicago, Indiana & Michigan and Iowa. Many will arrive Friday during the day & will be staying until Sunday. We are just a couple miles from the Lake Michigan shoreline & the Indiana dunes. When not viewing images, we will be searching for them. We also have people coming just for the day.

On Saturday, January 23rd, everybody is on their own for breakfast and we will start viewing portfolios around 9 am.

More details (besides the ones listed above) can be found at www.midwestlargeformat.com in the FORUM section. First time users will need to register, but it is free.

See you there.

Who's coming? So far we have 17 people coming from Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. We expect more.

What are we planning? Portfolio reviews start at 9 am. Everybody is on their own for breakfast. We are ordering lunch to be delivered. Besides looking at prints, we are planning informal talks on alternative processes such as cyanotype & carbon printing.

What is coming? 4X5s, 5X7s, 8X10s, 11X14s & 8X20s & lots of photographs.

When are we arriving? The majority of people will arrive on Friday & probably will explore around the Lake Michigan/Indiana Dunes shoreline which is about 2 miles from the motel. Several people will drive in just for the day on Saturday. For those staying Friday & Saturday nights, Sunday morning will offer more time to explore the area. We are also very close to Gary, Indiana which has been a popular destination for many in our group as well as several lighthouses along the Michigan side.

More info such as cell phone numbers & last minute planning can be found in the FORUM section at www.midwestlargeformat.com.

The weather is looking OK as temps should be above freezing. Hope you are considering joining us.
