I am interested in exploring Tony Kuyper's luminosity masks. He employs Photoshop shortcut key strokes using windows, and says on his tutorial page that "Mac users...can look up the corresponding key combinations". Where can I look up these combinations? I am stuck until I solve this problem. Thanks for your help.
The tutorial is here (http://goodlight.us/writing/luminositymasks/luminositymasks-1.html).
Bruce, did you try googling for "mac and windows key combinations"?

That might do 'er. Thanks.
Use (opt cmd ~) on a Mac to load the luminosity mask.
Use (opt cmd ~) on a Mac to load the luminosity mask.
If that doesn't work (depends on the individual keyboard settings), switch from layers to channels and cmd-leftclick on the composite RGB channel, then switch back to layers with the selection active.
It's much simpler than it sounds, trust me. :)
If (opt cmd ~) doesn't work check System Preferences - Keyboard & Mouse - Keyboard Shortcuts deselect the checkbox for “Move focus to the window drawer”.
