Hi
I am touring through Ireland during these dates, info from Irish members of any camera fairs, exhibitions, or anything of large format interest between these dates would be greatly appreciated:) :) :)

ooh, wrong place to go if you're expecting that sort of thing...

The RHA Annual Exhibition might be worth a look-

http://www.royalhibernianacademy.com/html/exhibitions/exhibit_annual.html

It does have some photographic content, although, as it hasn't been hung yet,
I've no idea what it'll be like-

The Gallery of Photography is usually worth a look too,
although I'm not sure what'll be up when you're here-
the current exhibition ends shortly, and I don't have info for the next one-

There isn't too much interest in Large Format Photography in Ireland,
it exists in isolated pockets, although there is a strong interest in film photography-
you might try the Irish branch of Apug-

http://www.apug.org/forums/forum237/

If you introduce yourself there you'll be well received and could get some more useful information...

Also, a message on http://www.photographyireland.net might get some advice regarding locations, if it's landscape photography you're interested in-

Hope you have a lovely time, and remember to bring some good weather with you-

Many thanks Joseph, your information is much appreciated, I hope I can bring some good weather with me, my passion is LF black & white landscape and hope I will get some great photographs, I will be sailing from IOM to Dublin and making my way up to Co.Antrim and the Giants causeway and then heading down the West coast witn no particular destination in mind, I have previously stayed in Galway, Bantry and Tralee and know the South West quite well.
Thanks again:) :) :)
Regards
Tony

Well, the Giant's Causeway is one of those National Trust Photographic Battlegrounds...

You should sign up on photographyireland.net -
a lot of northern coastal landscapers there,
and a lot of pictures already in the landscape section,
which might give you some references...
