This is probably the biggest newbie question you'll see this year... I've been h aving a blast with my $100 eBay Speed Graphic 4x5 and processing my own Ilford. So far so good. But now I've purchased some Provia and haven't a clue as to how to get the slides processed. Perusing the threads revealed some good mail-order places, like slidepro.com and theSlidePrinter.com, and the prices look reasonabl e. But... how do I send them the exposed slides? Shipping those heavy film holde rs back and forth seems expensive.

Please be gentle. I told you it was a newbie question...

Use an empty 4x5 film box if you can find one. Otherwise, you could use Delta Light Tight Safe-T-Bags #13510 (B&H #DESTB). There are 5 bags per package for $3.95. I've used them and they work great but I usually double-bag my film when using them. Tape them up between two pieces of stiff cardboard. The empty box is cheapest ($0) solution, though.
