Could an owner of an 8x10 Century View Camera no. 1 (see http://www.fiberq.com/cam/century/cent1.htm) kindly measure the size of their extension track for me? I am looking for an additional track for a 11x14 Century no. 1 and wonder if I can make do with one from a 8x10.

Thanks in advance.

Somebody out there has to own a Century 8x10, no?

Sorry, all I have are some Century whole plate view cameras and an 8x10 studio model. However, I have an extension for the whole plate and can use my 600 mm Fujinon-C on the camera quite easily. I think the problem you might have is the pitch of the teeth on the extension track and trying to get something that will match it.

7 inches wide by 11/16 of an inch high. The gear tracks are 6 and 1/8 of an inch apart.

Thank you! I will go home and compare them to my 11x14.

Unfortunately the sizes don't match. The 11x14 rails are about 9 1/2" wide, much larger than the 8x10 rails, thanks for the effort...
