View Full Version : v700 first scans, big problem

Tried to use my new Epson v700 today. I've tried with VueScan and the Epson software and get similar results. Any clues? This is a piece of stationary. Something is heinously wrong and I have no idea what.

Your holder might be blocking the back of the scanner area. Try rotating your holder 180 degrees and see if that changes anything.

I figured it out, I hadn't undone all the transportation locks. Whoops! I suppose I'll leave this here in case any other idiots have the same problem. :)

In that case, you may need to check that none of the gearing/belts have been damaged.
