I recently got a 100 cm arca rail and I also have 70cm and 30 cm bellows. I'd like to do some macro photography but I was wondering how do I connect those bellows together.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Well, the correct way would be a function carrier and a format frame-
I use that method...
However, I'm sure it could be bodged, probably with a piece of plywood with a square cut out, and some sheet rubber, and a lot of bulldog clips...
The good old gaffers tape saved many lifes...

Any issues with sagging?

Well, I think I need to buy some basic Arca Discovery with parts missing. ;)

A matches box under bellows makes miracles... :)

Even more sagging there...;)
As with everything,
it depends on the design and the execution...
Because I made an 8x10 back for the camera, I only had to get an extra function carrier-
I already had the format frame-
However, I might still use that method to join two 4x5 bellows at some stage...
maybe...
