I just mixed a bunch of ID-11 developer. Logging onto the Ilford site, I was surprised to see that they no longer include recommended development times for 1:1 dilutions.

Has this developer changed? They used to have 1:1 times, and although a bit long, they worked well for me. I like mixing 1:1, because it makes it easy to get the developer to the proper temperature.

I hadn't noticed so far, but the technical data sheet I downloaded from Ilford's site about one year or more ago doesn't list the 1:1 dilution. In fact, no other dilution is mentioned, only times for stock are given. My PDF seems to be identical with the one currently displayed on their site. So it doesn't seem to be a recent change.
I think you'll be fine using it like you did before. I doubt that Ilford would do a major change to such a classic and popular developer without announcing it.
Look at the inside of the box. There should be the whole range of dilutions, from stock to 1+3.

Change ID-11? The earth's angle is more likely to change than that…!!!

There has probably been a very slight change in ID-11 over recent years, there are indications in Patents (it's the reference developer) that imply the Borax has been increased from 2 to 3 gms per litre. This will have no real impact except to make the develop more stable in replenishment or when used dilute 1+1 or 1+3.

Last time I looked on the Ilford website the times for 1+1, and 1+3 were still listed, that was earlier today :D

Interesting. I'm looking at the data-sheet, and I don't see anything except full-strength at 68deg.F.

http://www.ilfordphoto.com/Webfiles/20062161159472874.pdfThere is a separate fact sheet for using ID-11 diluted (one-shot), but I can not find it on their website at the moment. If you send a PM to Ralph Barker who is the Ilford forum moderator as well as a moderator here, he may be able to locate the separate fact sheet for you.

I saw that one Ian, although there is (was?) also a separate fact-sheet for ID-11 when used diluted for other manufacturers films as well as Ilford`s own.:)

The other Ilford figures are in each film PDF. It's easy to interpolate the 1+3 time for non Ilford films.
