Hello!
I need your help please as I am about to buy a few items from Lee filters but, unfortunately, I´m completely lost...

This is what I need:
- one filter holder with at least two slots that will hold my ND grads (100x150mm)
- one polarizer (maybe 105mm)
- bellows lens hood/compendium

I use lenses from 75 to 360mm.

I was thinking about the Lee Filters Foundation Kit which will hold my grads.
But where do I attach the hood and the polarizer?

Then there are Lees slotted hoods that obviously combine the filter holder and the hood.
But again: Where can one attach a polarizer?

The only thing that is quite clear is that I need adaptor rings for every lens I have... ;)

Can anybody help me please? Any suggestions?

Cheers, Zwicko

If I have questions about the Lee filter system, I look on the Robert White site:

http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/product.asp?P_ID=1415&PT_ID=501

There is a comment about the shades at the bottom and, at the top, if you will key on it, you can bring up the brochure for Lee that has a lot more information.

I use the Lee P-105 wide angle lens hood which has (I think) 2 slots for slide-in 100mm filters as well as a ring for a 105mm polarizer. The polarizer is screwed on inside the hood which ensures that is always the furthest from the lens and is easy to rotate.

The hood attaches to the ring adapter, which fits onto the lens. I have most of my lenses standardized at 77mm with step-up rings, which is cheaper than buying rings for each lens. I recommend getting the "wide angle" adapter rings which lessen the possibility of vignetting.

Overall, I am very happy with the the whole system. I hope this helps.

To my knowledge, the only Lee holder configuration that simultaneously accommodates filters slots, a circular polarizer, and a hood is the P105 that Peter owns. Badger Graphic lists it:

http://www.badgergraphic.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=2437

However, if the P105 is based on the wide angle hood, then it may be less effective at shading normal and longer lenses than a standard (narrower) hood. Robert White appears to list a similar holder (LULH) based on the universal hood, see:

http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/product.asp?P_ID=1392&PT_ID=501

The universal hood is narrower and designed to accommodate a wider variety of lenses than the wide angle hood.

The big question is can you use one (or both) hoods with your 75mm lens without vignetting (this question gets even trickier if you use a center filter). I would strongly suggest talking to a Lee filter retailer (or Lee directly) to be certain about this point.

Curiously, I could not find either of these hood/filter slot/polarizer combinations in the latest Lee catalog.

I spent some time trying to get my 80mm lens working with a lee hood and still able to use two filters... The only way I could do it was as follows
