I'm sure I've read about this somewhere, probably here. But search as I might I can't turn the information.

What I'm looking for are the actual measured sizes for 8x10, 5x7, and 4x5 films. Also the actual measured image sizes. I know that 4x5 isn't really 4x5, it's something smaller like 1/16 or 3/32 of an inch smaller. The image size is smaller yet, like 1/4 inch smaller, so 3.75 x 4.75 inches. Yes? But what are the numbers for the larger sizes?

I'm thinking there's an ISO standard for film sizes that lists sizes, tolerances, all the rest. There is perhaps one for film holders as well. If anyone has a pointer for me, I would appreciate it.

That one I had. That would establish the upper limits for how big the sheet can be. Any bigger and it won't slide in the holders. And this does establish how big the image actually is on the sheet. I had forgotten I had that information already. So that's a good reminder.

But what I'm really looking for is the actual sizes of the sheets. Anyone?
