Will the Toyo Field 45aii accept a Linhoff lensboard?

Only if you use a Toyo to Linhof adapter board.

Otherwise, they are two different sizes and shapes.

Before I get called out for my answer, Toyo makes a version of the AII with a front standard that has been factory adapted with a Linhof-type opening enabling it to accept Linhof lens boards.

Toyo also makes Linhof style boards to fit their adaptors and modified front standards.

I made the mistake of buying several Toyo lensboards thinking they would fit my Toyo 45A. They ended up being different and are designed for the Toyo View camera, which I believe will also fit the Linhof Tech IV and V (and maybe others).

I also bought a 4X5 Cambo SC2 with the thought of also buying a Cambo to 45A adaptor board. It hasn't happened yet. The idea behind that was to use the 45A as the main workhorse, while having the option of more movements when needed.
