Although I have been a avid reader of the forum for the last months, I have yet to post. Circumstances, however, now demand I do more than read.
Our friends at Calumet Photographic-Chicago have generously offered to host an exhibition of my latest project (and largest to date), a photo survey of the Peruvian archeological site of Caral. The exhibition runs from March 14 thru the 28th. I will be at Calumet on March 21 from 11-4. If you have the opportunity to stop by, I would be grateful. If you are there on the 21st, I will be easy to recognize. Look for shy and nervous.
The details: http://guest.cvent.com/EVENTS/info/summary.aspx?e=ea963121-2ab2-4e03-847a-800d3b371f6e
The project cumulated in the publication of "Caral, the oldest civilization in the Americas" (168 pages, University of San Martin de Porres Press 2008) A limited number of books are available at Calumet Photographic.
Thank you,
Chris Kleihege
