I have developed my first 5X4 negatives this weekend have a good some good test shots embellished with Black and White snow from dust at the taking and developi ng stage. Quite unexpected as I dont have dust problems with other formats.
One possibility is to get a Fuji or Kodak quickload back and use pre loaded film as this would remove the black snow! I have read the material in the archives a nd it looks best to avoid the Kodak system - particularly s/h. I have seen Fuji Quickload backs available s/h and wondered whether I should avoid them or whethe r they are generally OK to buy s/h. I assume its possible to buy Fuji Neopan 400 in quickloads in the UK.
