Just curious. What is your LF work flow at present? It's set to multiple choice, but of course there is some combination I have left out, so feel free to elaborate.

Lab develops and I scan :-)

if today is any indication, I develop the negatives, then I spend half the day trying to find them in my office -- going through every negative I have, with no luck. They are around here somewhere! Nice ones too!

Vaughn

Maybe I just dreamed I developed them and the negs are still in the film holders...

For now, I'm primarily developing my own film, scanning on an Artixscan M1 and printing on an Epson 3800. I mostly exhibit and sell 16x20 prints--or something a bit larger. I also have a darkroom set up, but it still needs some work before I can start printing large (20x24) prints, contact printing 8x10's, and wet plate collodion.

There wasn't an option, so here's what I do.

I pick up my camera. Unfold it, set it up, play with it. Fold it back up and store it. Then I log onto LFPF.

My color workflow doesn't actually appear in your list:

Color: Lab develops, I scan, lab prints. This is most cost effective for me for C-41 4x5/8x10.

B&W: I develop, I scan, lab prints.

I develop all my own film, then print the B&W ones wet. The colour ones get scanned and printed - i have a nearby printer who does excellent work.

My work flow is similar to Ash's.

The same as Mick Noordewier (sounds Dutch), for both 4x5 and 8x10 inch.

I develop B&W and color and optically print B&W and Ilfochromes. I'm also beginning to scan and inkjet print color only.

Lab develops and I scan and print (sometimes a diferent, digital specialist lab does the scan and print for big stuff.)

You forgot some configurations. I shoot, develop and deliver to client 4x5 color transparencies.

Same lab as Frank develops, then I scan & print.

Yeah, I didn't hold out hope that I would get every possibility. I'll do better next year:)

I shoot the original on Polaroid 52 film (beautiful stuff) and copy the print with digital camera (or scanner) for printing. I'll be up the old creek when my last box is empty. I don't know how well the Fuji will work, when and if it's available.

"Optical Print"? that term has got to be binned.

Lab develops, I scan, lab prints

but I'm looking into:

Lab develops, 3rd party scans, lab prints

I think this should have been an option on the poll also.

B&W: I develop and print.
Transparencies: the lab develops and I do the image transfer or Ilfochrome.

I will buy a top-notch drum scanner that can do up to 8x10 negs when the price drops to less than a thousand.

I only do B&W and for 40 years I did everything myself (chemicals included).
A lab never touched any of my films or prints.

I develop, scan and print all of my B&W.
I have a lab develop Color, then I scan and print.

You left me out of the choices. I have a lab develop my transparencies, then I scan and digitally process. I do small prints (8x10) but take the digital files back to the lab for real prints.

I turned a buckle, unzip the flaps, pulled it out , jerk it around, slap some knobs ,,, then the doorbell rings and it's the UPS guy delivering my camera from repairshop :D

Contact print? No, "optical print" is perfectly appropriate. It covers both contacts and enlargements. No need to "bin" ("trash" for those who speak American rather than British english) it.
