Has anyone used hc110 to develop Arista 100 film, I know it's not recomended but I have so much of the HC110 I want to use it up before it goes bad. Thanks

I use HC-110 exclusively to develop Arista.edu.ultra film (fomapan) although I use the 200 ISO version of the film. If the 100 ISO is like the 200 ISO you will need to go for a weak dilution such as "E" and a short developing time.

I think HC110 dilution H is my fav for Arista Ultra Edu 200 ei 100. Inexpensive and very very nice gradual tones. Horrible reciprocity.

What developing times do you use with E

HC110 won't go bad for years and years. It's in a glycol base rather than a water base, so it won't hydrolyze.

I've used HC110 on the Arista.edu.ultra 200 quite a bit, and it's a nice combination, though a bit grainy and tends to drop the shadows a little more than other films.

If you dig a bit I think Domenico Foschi posted on this combination, and there were some nice photos included.

I use HC-110 with Arista.EDU 100. I love the results. However, I am VERY new to large format and have only shot perhaps and developed 20 sheets or so. Here are a few portraits I took next to a large window:

Tintype,
You didn't give your intended processing method,
What works for me... In a Jobo expert drum, Edu 100 shot at iso 50, Hc-110 concentrate mixed 1:50, 70 degrees 7 min.
The reason for the weaker dilutions is, to prevent uneven development, you REALLY don't want dev times much shorter.

I use 2 methods dip tank and tray - ( got rid of the FR daylight tank) 1:50 ? is that right from the bottle?

I mix 1:50 (straight from bottle) and develop for 6.5 minutes. It's a little short, but seeing as I really don't know what I'm doing in the darkroom, less time spent, the better! Heh...
