Has anyone had any "hands on" experience with dissassembly/refurbish/repair of Sinar Pan/Tilt heads?

Thanks much!!

When you disassemble the head, note carefully the place of the plastic spacers, to be able to replace them in the right order. If not, you will bend the sides, which are soft, when locking the lever. The sides allow some play, but not too much, just enough when they are in good shape and the spacers in the correct position. If the sides have been misaligned due to a former uncorrect dismantling, you have to bend them back. This is uneassy, and at the risk of eventually be unable to fix the head. If you have to do that, use a gauge to check parallelism.
