Some of the best images and information I've found on the web comes from individual blogs and websites.
If anyone would care to list their blog or website, I might like to add you to my bloglines and keep up with what you have going on.

Thanks,

Shameless plugging? Count me in! My blog has nothing to do with photography, but my website does:

http://www.nathanmarciniak.com/

A few months ago I gave myself a choice: set a big pile of money on fire in my front yard or purchase a web domain. I chose the latter. Woo.

I do two blogs, so I guess this is twice the shameless promotion.

Large Format Blog-pics of my Arca Swiss camera set up in various places I have been taking images.

My other blog is more of my photography travels-just nature pics.

I even set up some galleries on my home page. I do mostly landscape and nature scenics with the occasional church or ranch.

I just launched a blog that is about photographing architecture. I answer so many emails about AP that I thought a blog would give me the ability to archive info and not have to repeat myself so much. It is pretty primitive now but the content will grow. See the link below LIGHT+SPACE+STRUCTURE.

I agree, lots of links to look at. I haven't said much about photography on Website (http://www.wsrphoto.com/myindex.html) and Blog (http://wsrphoto.blogspot.com/) of late except the occasional idea or thought. Since September I've been working on the photography guide (http://wsrmtrnp.blogspot.com/) to Mt. Rainier NP and the early history (1880-1920) of the NP (before and after its designation in 1899), especially an 1896 expedition.

Hi Jim,

Don't be modest, where's the link?

I took a look at some of your "vintage" work again, and still think it is terrific. Rhyolite, Goldfield, Bristlecone Pines. Some may complain of sharpness, but that has never bothered me! You know, f:64. The soft stuff is good, also. It looks like you are having fun with your photography, the results speak for themselves.

Best,
Merg

Thanks Robert. The panos are are stitched in Photoshop. I enjoy the flexibility to create a final aspect ratio that is custom to each image, but I have coincidentally arrived at a general standard that is very close to 617.

Very nice work there, clean elegant site. Your work looks vaguely familiar, but the oldest image I could find was '84. Were you showing, say at the Folio Gallery back in.....maybe '82-3. I had a show there in '83 and your work is familiar.

Dear Kirk,

Good memory... :)

Yes I was there, where Peter Duthie brought me into his "Folio Gallery," during the fall of 1982. I still have dinner with Peter occasionally, to discuss old times, where Peter still happens to be a great critic, along with Art Nishimura, and Clyde McConnell. I am certain that those names should bring back memories for you also, as would the name Craig Richards.
