Try to recall a photograph, can't remember the name of the photographer.

It's a California palm trees shot. Two giant palm trees and a row of white stripe houses. Actually I think there were two version of it, one is @ night, another isn't(?)
made around 1800's or even early 1900's. B/W with warm tuned. To me seems it was done with a lens (slightly) longer than normal focal range.

Anyone here? I am pretty sure someone must know it.

Thanks

Andrew

Very good, Andrew. You know they say that Memory is the Second Thing to go.

Glad you found it, I couldn't get past Robert Adams' Dead Palms.

it's a photographer's own artistic vision?
I am about to try something outrageously ugly as long as it's fresh!

Colin, I love Robert Adams' Palm trees as well, he seems to be a palm tree fan as well!

excuse me!

I love this shot! long time ago. I mean I was addicted with it as I saw it @ the first time. then I started my LF journey 5 months ago..

However, I took a closer look @ this work as I was sipping red wine(probably that's why?). I found out this, is this A1 Photoshop?!! 1.jpg was a flipping version of 2.jpg. I mean they are all cropped from the raw.jpg, and we will get 1.jpg should I flip 2.jpg over!!! what a shock! It will be a shock to me as I dislike(very,if not extreme) this sort of manipulation.. even its almost 98 years ago!!
