have anyone used pelican 1440 for deardorff v8 , Inside dimensions: 17.10" L x 7.50" W x 16.00" D

If it fits, then use it. That appears to be a way better case than the old traditional fiber cases.

The camera will fit, but I don't know how much other stuff you can get in there with it...
maybe three holders, one lens and a meter?
It's pretty bulky outside for just the camera.

One complain I have against pelican case (or similar case) is that the wheel is not big enough. If they make better wheels, or have the option to install bigger wheel, I will be very interested.
