I recently aquired a Kodak-2D 8x10. With the outfit comes these 3 boards that I can't figure out. I will try and describe them.

They are approx. 1/4 inch thick, painted flat black, and all have 2 circles, about the size of a nickel cut to a depth of about an 1/8 of an inch and about an inch and a half apart in the middle. On one side, there is a cut edge, like a lensboard, but not cut like one that I have seen.

1 board is approx. 2"x6"
1 board is approx. 4"x 6 or 7"
1 board is approx. 6"x 8 or 9"

What are these for?

I have a picture of it if that helps...

They are slider boards, you can place them inside the back of the camera (take the back off and you should see where they slide in). They are used to shoot more than one 4x10, or 5x8, or even 4x5 on a single 8x10 sheet of film.

Nice.... :D

I looked at the camera and didn't think to remove the back. I thought that since they were flat black they belonged inside but....

Thanks alot Mike.
