Doesn't fit! I have come by this lens, mounted on a Linhof board but the rear element of the lens is larger than the lens hole of the camera. What's up with that? Any ideas beyond the obvious?

Unscrew the rear element protection ring - it will then fit OK. Take care of the rear glass when handling the lens without the ring present.
