I noticed that the BTZS tubes are available only as 8x10 or 4x5 kits. Anyone try processing 5x7 in the 8x10 tubes?

I bought 5x7" tubes some years ago. May be they don't do anymore.
I think it will be difficult to get 5x7" films out of 8x10" tubes without any scratch or you will have to make something to avoid film to go too deep in the tube.

I agree- I found this out when I made tubes for semi stand development. I made the tubes longer than would be normal to hold the additional required solution. I figured I'd just put the film in and it would stay there- nope. I had to cut the bottom tube in half and put another join in. This was the best solution anyway, for semistand- just took me a trial to get there. It's really not difficult to make your own tubes either.
