What film will you be using Paul? Black and White, color transparency, color negative? I have used Calypso Imaging for color transparency processing and they are good. http://www.calypsoinc.com/

The Washington on the left side of the country? If so, take a look at Prophoto in Portland, Oregon (The one on the left side of the country). Unlike the labs that are shutting down, they just opened a new lab last year to increase their capabilities, and handle the increased work they are experiencing. You can go to www.prophotosupply.com and they have a price list. In fact, they just called me today so I can pay them to ship my current work to me. Reasonable and fast, I sent the film to them last week (120 roll) and they called today.

Yes, I am on the left side of the country.

I plan on shooting B&W to start with, and see where I go from there.

Are you sure your sending people to the location you intended?

The proper web site is www.prophotosupply.com

The have a full service camera, photo supply operation. They just moved their lab out of the main store to a new larger location (for the lab). They are about a half block away from the long time store location.

Sorry for the error... on the home page you will see a link to the photo lab.

Good catch Mike

If you have to mail order anyway, Edgar Praus does everything very well and gives you one on one service: http://www.4photolab.com/

no need to go so far away, great B&W lab here in Seattle-
http://www.pandalab.com/

They are also doing color but no sheet film yet, may be gearing up for it. But they have many years of doing good B&W film, all formats.

I have to ship color film & Edgar Praus does an extremely good job. I just talked to him today about neg. sheet film and he will do same day turn around if the film gets to him in the AM. Nice.

took me a while to find this info, many in Seattle are now using R&R color in Spokane-
http://www.rrcolor.com/
for color sheet film, economical over night delivery as well.

Unless Panda gets color processors, they are only doing LF B&W, and roll film color, though highly recommended.

Another plug for Praus, but I have also used and been very pleased with Precision Imaging in Chicago. If you are interested in getting positive transparencies for you B&W, dr5Chrome in Denver does very good work, although not necessarily quickly.

I've used him in the past, and plan on using him more often in the future. Yes, he does great work.

Normally, I use Calypso for my E-6 and they too do good work.
