I use Photobucket to hold a few images for linking to and the new Mac Album thingy to show off non-commercial stuff. I use no titles, no tabs, no clients. Anything potentially damaging in this? Is there a safer way to make thing available on line without losing one's birthright?

Make sure your images Metadata has your copyright and contact info embedded in just about anything you post online. Someday the copyright laws will be softened up and all that will be required of a image thief is to perform a perfunctory "author search". If the tag is in the image, you will still have a infringement case.

I wish some big rich evil corporation would swipe my images so I could sue them, lol.

Note that Picassa, Flickr, etc. have terms that allow them to use your images for their marketing, for free. Screw that. Just get your own hosting account and ftp software. Be the master of your domain.

The big professional online storage places are in trouble -- Digital Railroad just died, and Photo Shelter is having issues. Ouch. I cancelled my accounts with them.
