Hi everyone:
I just finished reading a post on this great forum about the Epson 3800 printer that left me speechless in the amount of information, profiles, workflow and links available here. My question is is... is the same degree of info available on the 7800 Epson Printer? I would love to read it to learn more about the 7800 printer.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation on this matter.

Don

Much of what is written about the 3800 also applies to the 7800.

Do a search for 7800 you should find lots of info.

There may be rebates for the 7880. Epson will soon be selling another 24" model, the 7900.

What he said. I had a 7800 (sold and now awaiting a 7900) and the only thing really different to the 3800 is that the 7800 is a single black printer ... you don't want to be swapping and changing between PK & MK. Epson's 24"/44" printers also excel at heavyweight cut sheet loading.

Thank you for replying. I have a 7800 at home when the chicken lay the golden eggs I'll be making it a B&W only printer and get myself a 7900 for color only.

Comming back to my post I read the Eric Chan material on his website about the 3800 and was wandering if someone may have a similar setup for the 7800. If not I'll be ordering some profiles from Eric for my 7800 that for now must remain in both color and B&W. I still have 1-1/2 rolls of Luster when finish I'll be changing to Velvet and keep it like that until I can afford a new printer for just B&W may be a 3800.

Thank's again,
Don
