I apologise now, I know thats it not L.F. but I've just won an auction for an Agfa Record 111 6x9 roll film camera. It is post WW2 and has an uncoupled rangefinder and a (single?) coated lens. So have I bought a useful piece of equipment or a load of junk?
Thanks for any help or advice,
Pete

If it's in good shape, it's a great machine. I have a Record II and adore it. (I also owned a Record III until I... dropped it from a bridge).

6X9 folders are fun to use and I kind of like the format. It dosn't print to 8X10. More like 6.5X10 or some such thing. I think it's cool when trimmed so you have a nice even 3/16 border all around. It's different and makes a very good looking photo.

Thanks everybody. I want it to replace my Voightlander Bessa 1 which took a bit of a knock a couple of years ago.
