Hello,

I've got an old pentax spotmeter, must be a 3, (analog, doesnt have a button
on the left side of the grip),

I'm looking for a spare cell-battery, and can anybody tell me how this meter switches between high-low? If I meter now (with the 9V block), only in dim scenes does the meter measure accurately, bright scenes make the meter jump into the read,

any suggestions?

It sounds like one of your batteries is bad. You don't have to pull the trigger for high, only for low. The other battery is under the strapholder.

Hi Stefan, I use these in mine without any issues so far, I have used them for a couple of years now.
