Does this sound feasible ? I really want a Noblex but..... I want about 6 cameras at any given moment so..... I've been thinking about alternatives . I know anamorphic elements are sometimes quite soft but ...well , is it completely crazy ?

You'll need the same anamorphic to make the print, or some electronic equivalent.

I've been thinking about doing some anamorphic 8x10 portraits since I like the aberrations created by the anamorphic element so much. Maybe I'll get around to doing it sometime soon.

It's easy in PS to resize the image - you squeeze it with the lens and then you unsqueeze it in PS. I've been doing some experimentation with fisheye images but anamorphic would be alot easier.
