I recently bought a number of items from KEH and when they arrived, I was a bit disappointed with the smallest of the three: an $8 item. I decided I could inexpensively return it, so I called for an RMA. The person I spoke to unhesitantly accepted my request and then paused. She asked if instead she could issue a $10 credit to my account. Let's see: I get to keep the item, not have to pay to mail it back, and get a $10 credit on my next order...hmmm. Yes, I'll continue to shop with KEH.

I recently bought some bits from Mr Cad (London - UK) and they had everything I asked for, I was even told that some were half price. I then called up an hour later because I'd forgotten an item I wanted on my order. They added it no problem and everything arrive next day.

Sometimes people get it right, and it's nice when that happens ;)

That cost them a portion of 18 dollars,
the good will they just secured is close to priceless.
A shame that so few retailers understand this.
I purchase everything I can from one small mom and pop shop, sometimes I win a few bucks savings, sometimes I loose a few bucks, but the owner always goes the extra distance for me and I will stand by him always for that.
