Any one know of a place to rent wide angle lens for 4x5 in phoenix that is reasonable? I have a trip to zion area in oct and just can't afford to spend much more on equipment. Thanks Lyle

You might also inquire whether Photomark is still doing rentals.

Out of LF in rental as well? If so, contact them and tell them to update their web pages which still advertise LF lens rentals...

Since Rod left back in the early 1990's, they had nothing in the LF sales department for many years.

I just called Tempe Camera -- they still rent LF lenses and their listing is up to date on their webpage. Includes 65,75 and 90 for 4x5. See webpage

Photomark also rents lenses - ~$20/day. or ~$30.00 per weekend with a substantial deposit. They offer 55, 65,75, 90 Rodenstock

You could also rent from one of the new york stores. Last I looked, renting from Adorama was a lot cheaper than renting from Tempe Camera (who are way overpriced, imo) even including shipping. I didn't know about Photomark back then.

Thanks for the recommendation but for the length of the trip I could buy used lens for near the same price. Just have to due with what I have for know. Thanks again Lyle
