A collection of my steam and early diesel electric locomotive images will be published in LensWork Extended #78 Sept-Oct 2008.

Brooks Jensen will be interviewing me. With luck, I will have a small video with my comments about the work.

This is as close to Paradise as I've ever gotten. I'm thrilled. :D

The train images on your site are excellent. I spent the 90's working for Lionel Trains developing Railsounds. Needless to say there are a few friends of mine who would really appreciate these images. I really like the tone and clarity you get in your prints.

Congratulations on Lenswork. I have been inspired by the work in that magazine over and over and over. It's a big achievement IMO.

I now begin to understand how a dog must feel at the sight of a street lined with fire hydrants. The anticipation is nearly killing me! :D

Tremendous HDR images from the Roundhouse in Portland!
Did you use large format to do the HDR? or a digital back? or digital camera? to get the files for HDR?

Thanks for publishing. I look forward to seeing your work in lenswork (hard and soft copies)

Joe,

I enjoy your work. It's definitely an honor to share the podium with you.

I'm very happy to take one of the lower platforms. The fact I'm even invited to stand here is beyond my wildest imaginations! :D
