Processing in New Zealand

Hi everybody,

I'm here in NZ in the Manawatu region for at least 3 years while my wife gets her PhD. Bummer for me, huh! I get to photograph one of the most beautiful countries anywhere, while she slaves away. :)

Just wondering about good labs for 4x5, and the occasional 120 - E6 and B+W. I guess it will probably be mail order to Auckland, Wellington, or even Christchurch...?

Any recommendations?

ImageLab (http://www.imagelab.co.nz/) in Wellington is probably the best bet. They handle all the E6 processing for Wellington now I think. My friend uses them for all his commercial work, and I use them (indirectly via WPS, simply because WPS are across the road from my work) for all E6 and LF colour.

No complaints so far, they even coped with 9x12cm sheet film that I forgot to mark as such.

BTW, lots of water to photograph at the moment, as well as houses hanging over the edge....
