Hi,

I'd like to purchase a 6x12 roll film back for my Nagaoka. The purpose would be to experiment with the 6x12 format to see if I like it. If I do, then I'd probably get a dedicated 6x12 camera.

Can someone tell me what I should be looking for so that I end up with a back that fits/works. I've seen some discussions of Da Yi roll film backs and seen them on the auction site, but I'm not sure if they'll work with the Nagaoka.

Thanks,
Vijay

Some late-model 4x5 Nagaokas have Graflok fittings (removable ground glass with slide locks for rollholders), but many Nagaokas, especially the common older ones, don't. If yours doesn't, the only option would be a slide-in type back like the Calumet or Sinar.

Oren,

Thanks for your reply. Looks like I have the kind that would necessitate the Calumet type of back.
