I have already decided that I will buy the Velbon Sherpa 630 carbon fiber tripod. Currently I’m using Manfrotto head (808RC4) and I’m pretty happy with it. But last weekend I met a fellow photographer who has been carried Velbon tripod with Velbon PHD-51Q head. This combo is very, very light. I put my Toyo on… and I was quite surprise how nice it works. Weekend has gone and I’m still thinking about this head. Now it looks a little be too small and I’m thinking about the alder brother PHD-61Q! Do you have any experience with this head?
