colorspan wide format printer

Hi there, anyone know of anyone in the uk who can still service this large printer (colorspan 64").
i have one which appears fully functional apart from some inks have ran out, they are very expensive and dont want to waste money replacing them if the machine is'nt going to work correctly?

I don't know which one you have, but the one I am familiar with (62" 8 or 12 ink one from the early part of this century) was very finicky (clogged heads, mis fed paper, failed calibrations, mostly sudden and inexplicable), excessive ink usage and had output that was only a little better than the HP designjet 5000/5500.

Try contacting your local HP service centre. They recently bought out MacDermid, who made the ColorSpan line of printers.
