CHB style? That what I’m waiting for . Hugo still owned me a rapidwinder for the 20x24back :)

Thanks everyone for letting me share.

My congratulations as well, Tri! Both an honor and (I suspect) an inspiration for a new burst of work! I hope somewhere down the road you can tell us just what this experience brings to you and your work.

Can someone enlighten me more about this guild? How does one qualify/get selected to become a member besides obviously possessing the necessary skills and aptitude to make fine contact prints?

Joining guidelines are on their website.

I own a good 10 prints from Guild members current and past (bought outside the Guild context, I must say) and if I may play devil's advocate and perhaps spoil a bit of this happy moment for Tri, a lot of photographers have left the Guild on account of (I must deduce) minimal sales versus the cost of mainting a presence in the Guild.

99.9999% of people don't give a crap about LF and/or contact prints (or FA photography for that matter) and won't spend any kind of $ on it so it is likely an impossibility to make Guild membership a viable "business". But then again, who said it had to be a "business" to be an enjoyable experience.

Good luck and report back in a year or two Tri and share your experience with the Guild won't you?

Steve, another group you may want to consider is ImageWorks, based in Phoenix, AZ.

On of our members, Scott Peters, is also a member of the CPG.
