This was a lot of fun, a very simple basic design. It ended up being much bigger than need be. I think that I could probably get 11x14 out of it. The materials that I used for the bellows were too thick, the smallest distance between GG and lens is 9 inches.
The total weight of the camera is just under 14 pounds. Now the search starts for a suitable tripod.

Looks like it'll do the job..and that's all you need. Kudos..

(BTW, I have a Zone VI "baby" tripod that'll handle that and more for sale..)

Very nice looking camera. You're going to call it the Lombardi Trophy, right? :-)

Do you mean the back is large enough to do 11x14? Did you make a reducing back for 8x10, then?

Looks great, though. Have fun.

Nah, I think the yellow pages will do, ;)

Great job, the bellows is beautiful.

If I were to build a new back I could go with a larger format. 11x14 could be possible, the dimension at the back is 15x15.

Albert, nice job! Now make the 11x14 back for it! When you see an 11x14 neg you will understand. Also, it is not that hard to build an 8x20! You have the experience!

The yellow pages can go back under the table. I found this stand on a local site, everything seems to work fine especially the tray. I am hoping to expose my first sheet of film this weekend.

WOW! One Helluva sturdy stand - - but, backpacking out in the boonies for a few landscape shots might be somewhat challenging!!

It only weighs 74 pounds, I figured the dog can handle it.;) The price was right. The head unscrews and I am hoping that I can use it on a survey tripod.

The dog may not go for lugging that beast. An awesome stand, even more awesome camera. Can hardly wait to see your results.

Why settle for camera support when you can support camera and beer! Great job!
