Consider 'Denglas' anti-reflective glass from a picture framer.

The company which made Denglas is no longer in business. If you want an anti-reflection coated glass you could try Tru-Vue AR. In my experience, though, it's very difficult to get a piece of these coated glasses as large as 8x10 without small surface defects.

And I'll add that the quality of an anti-Newton surface varies considerably. Regular "no glare" framing glass can be used, but it has a fairly coarse texture that might show through. In my case, it did. Others have reported success though and brand might make a difference.
I've always had good results from Focal Point, but recently I've heard some complaints. I think they're a one man shop, and the rumor is that Mike was ill. I don't know the truth of this, but I'd call direct instead of making a web order.
