HI,
I am VERY new to LF - just waiting for the arrival of a Toyo 45A Field Camera. I have been offered a Schneider Super Angulon 90mm f 8 which the owner describes as "in a Toyo View recessed panel" . Can I fit this panel in my Toyo Field Camera or it is just for use in Toyo Monorail View cameras?
Thanks

It is for a Toyo View only.
The Toyo View (and the Toyo Field in 8*10) uses 158mm * 158mm boards and the
Toyo Field (in 4*5) uses 110mm * 110mm boards.

Thank you Per - that's really helpful. There's a lot to learn. With 30+ years of experience with 35mm and medium Format I'd thought of myself as an expert. It's back to the classroom for me - I'm looking forward to it!
Best wishes

Although it is most likely that the recessed board is the 158mm version designed for the monorail models, there are also recessed 110mm boards (Copal 0 only) for the field camera. They are, however, somewhat rare.

The recessed boards for the Toyo Field (110 mm) exists in both 1/2" and 1" versions.
The 1/2" is the current version and the old version (1") are some times on sale on E-bay. The 1" version is difficult to use due to access problem to the shutter.
