Hi,

I need a front lens board for my Calumet 4x5 (recently won on ebay). The only one I can find is a Cambo, I don't want it b/c it has their name stamped on the front (http://www.calumetphoto.com/resources/images/products/1a08b5db785c4aa8bcb85be25e1619b3.jpg). Please help me to find another.

Thank you.

Oh, the lens is Fujinon SWD 90 f/5.6, shutter size 0

You will find some that say Calumet, some that say Cambo, and some that have an empty rectangle with no name in it. I just sold off the last of mine.

Are you using a Calumet 45N or 45NX? If yes, you will probably want to use a recessed lensboard with that camera.

KEH has lots, listed by hole size in millimeters:

There's a guy on ebay who makes them. Look in the large format lens section. He built me a lensboard for my Korona.

Same same. They use the same lensboards. I don't have one anymore to check for you. My memory tells me that you will need a recessed board to get the lens close enough to the GG to focus. A bag bellows will help too if you want to use the 90 with movements.

I was wondering why you wouldn't want a Cambo board to spruce up a Calumet in the first place? ;)

I am curious, what does it matter what name is on the board? If it fits and holds the lens correctly?

Just curious...
