Color cast with V750

I am scanning Velvia 50 chromes with an Epson V750. I seem to be getting color casts on the scans. I calibrated the scanner with two different IT 8 targets, but I still seem to get the cast.

Does it matter if the target is a Kodak target and I am using Velvia?

Any suggestions? I can correct in the prescan, but it would be much quicker and easier if I could nail the color from the start.

Absolutely. There is a significant colour to the film base. Get the correct target from targets.coloraid.de ; it will make a difference.
