I use an Ebony and I think Ebony recommend offset lens panels.
How important is this, and does it become more imperative with wide angle or telephoto lenses?
Thanks for any advice.

The zero indents are lined up to the offset lens boards. If you want an extra amount of offset the the center cut lens board is used, but there is more than adequate movement with the camera in the first place.

Just like Greg said...the camera was designed with the boards with their hole offset from the center in mind but, the boards with the hole in the center work just fine too. It's just takes more thought to get the front rise "zeroed" when the boards with the hole in the center are used.

Ah, believe it or not I hadn't thought that the camera was designed for offset boards. Thanks.
