Horseman 45FA question???

Hello.
Forgive nme for asking a simple/fool question. I bought a Horseman 45FA and was wondering how does the front standard come out of the body? Is the two black clip/lever things at the bottom of the standard involved? I'm afraid of breaking the camera if possible?
