Graphic View Camera

I have just purchased the Graphic View I, looks to be in good shape. However when I use the front riser rack and pinion assembley, especially when th e bellows are "tight" it doesn't want to stay in place (creeps down). Is there a way to tighten it? Thanks, Lawrence

Lawrence: Slide the shaft with gear to raise the board to the right. It should lock the board in place. Move back to the left to release. Directions are from back of camera.
