I need a few Cibachrome contact prints. Can someone recommend a lab?

I just Googled. Can't speak for them. Give them a call. I'm sure there are more out there.

Thanks Walter. I found those also. Was hoping to get input from people who could vouch for a labs quality. Costs are a lot higher now and I don't want to spend $50/8x10 to find out.

Paul

I'd call a few labs and ask for references. If they get upset with that, then you don't want to work with them.

If you get references, I'm sure the photographers you call will help you.

Here they are. Also, the first two at least and probably others can obtain Ilfochrome chemicals and have them drop shipped to you, for those having trouble finding them in retail outlets.

In Canada, there is Elevator, located in Toronto, Ontario. Last I talked to them, they do tradtional Ciba, as well as digital Ciba with a Durst Lambda. I know the guys and they have a good reputation.

I've used Photographic Traditions of Maine and Clone-achrome, and been happy with both. Both are pleasant people to deal with and the prints look at least as good as my shots would allow, and probably a bit better . . .

I'm going to try Elevator. Only because they have the best prices of those recommended.

Thanks for all the helpful replies.

Paul, if you get a chance, drop by their building and meet the guys there. They are a great bunch.

How are any of these labs doing Cibachrome? I used to do it way back when, and still have some great prints I made, but I though that Cibachrome was dead (discontinued) ???
